Sagrada Familia / Park Guell / Casa Batlló / Casa Milla
We had the pleasure of meeting Raul and having him as our private tour guide to Gaudi’s Masterpieces (Sagrada Familia, Park Guel, Casa Batllo and Casa Milla). He was knowledgeable, passionate about what he does, answered our questions patiently and was friendly and personable. This tour was truly the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. Raul took his time taking our pictures at different key photo spots. He shared tiny details that many would have overlooked and was very much appreciated. We will definitely recommend Raul to be your tour guide in Barcelona. Book Barcelona tours with him and get amazing insights and information to this incredible city!

Park Guell: Skip the Line Guided Tour
Raoul ha fatto un tour alternativo, unendo la storia del parco alla sua storia personale di persona locale. È stato molto disponibile. È andato tutto bene. Il parco era molto bello e il tour copriva le parti principali.

Park Guell: Skip the Line Guided Tour
Raul was our Park Güell and he was fun. Not only was he informative, but he grew up in this park as a child so he was able to share many stories. He also made sure that we were listening and learning by asking questions from time to time and kept things interactive. He answered our questions as well. Be sure to be early for your meet up time because there are a lot of people in these areas where you meet and look for your guide with the red flag. Somtimes it's not easy to find them so make sure you're early by say 10 minutes to make sure you can find them.

I thoroughly enjoyed participating in Raul’s 1-1/2 hour tour of Parc Güell. His engaging personality and deep knowledge broadened the enjoyment of the entire group. He made the story of the park come alive with anecdotes about the original design and plan. The philosophy of Gaudi to let nature be not just seen but experienced was brought out by examples of how lines were drawn, building materials chosen, and even architectural allusions to children’s storybooks. I was particularly impressed with the bench around the Greek theater with continuous ceramic lumbar support. The emphasis on recycling was brought home by Gaudi’s clever combination of getting locals to donate broken dinnerware that ended up linking them and their families physically and emotionally to the park for years if not centuries to come. I almost laughed out loud seeing a complete saucer in one of the arches between the support (and rain-water collecting) pillars under the theater area. Enjoying the vista was a nice finish: over the city rooftops past Sagrada Familia to the sea… a nice souvenir photo.
