For this post we have visited our friends from RENT A BIKE BCN who have lent us their electric bikes to test them.
We have really been impressed by your electric bikes! We had never used them and to visit Barcelona (which has some climbs) they are ideal.
Of course they also have bikes with gears, bikes without gears and electric scooters.
You can check all their bikes and the tours they do here.
If you say that you come from WANDERLUST BARCELONA, they will give you a 20% discount.
Where are they?
Our route:
We decided to make a route that was safe and would allow us to stay on the city’s bike lanes at all times. Don’t worry because at RENT A BIKE BCN they will give you a map where they are all signposted.
Our first stop was the Sagrada Familia which, as you know, is a Catholic basilica designed by Antoni Gaudí.
If you want to know more about this monument you can click here.
Then we headed towards Passeig Sant Joan along Carrer Mallorca. Once there, following the Passeig, we arrived at the Arc de Triomf, created for the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888 and which has a markedly civil character.
Here we deviated to Plaça de Sant Pere to grab some food.
At Santa Piadina we ordered:
- Genoveva (chicken with mozzarella, goat cheese, tomato, potatoes, arugula and cream cheese). €7.50
- Lupita (zucchini gratin, goat cheese, walnuts and honey). €7.50.

Then we went back to Passeig Lluis Companys (promenade of the Arc de Triomphe) and headed to Parc de la Ciutadella, where we ate the Piadinas.
Once we finish eating, we continue to the beach where we enjoy walking along the Barcelona promenade (Passeig marítim).
Continuing to the end of this walk you will arrive at the Hotel W, but in our case, we decided to lose ourselves in the charming alleys of the Gothic Quarter until we reached the impressive Cathedral of Barcelona.

From there we went up to Portal del Angel (since it was Sunday there was no one, but you go during the week is a very busy street and it is better to go up another), and from there we arrived at Passeig de Gracia.
In the Manzana de la Discordia we stopped to contemplate the Casa Batlló, the Casa Ametller and the Casa Lleó Morera.
Shortly after we arrive at La Pedrera or Casa Milà, where we finish the tour to return the bicycles.
Estimated time
More than 3 hours of relaxed tour, with stops to take photos and enjoy the rhythm of the city.
